It’s actually the most popular all-day package we have on offer! Perfect for couples who want a more even mix of live acoustic music at their reception (think during dinner, your first dance as a couple, etc.) but also a DJ later on in the evening creating a lively party atmosphere that goes hand and hand with the dance floor!

- All live music can be comprised of either a soloist, duo or trio (with instruments like guitar, piano or cello)
- When we say all day, we mean it! A curated wedding playlist during the breaks mean no crickets or tumbleweed awkward silences
- Pending on your choice of artist you may still want to add an instrument during the ceremony and/or reception; think sax, trumpet, even bongos (or more, just ask!)
- Add on extra time if 7 hours just ain’t enough

AN UNFORGETTABLE CEREMONY
It’s the first of many big entrances of the day. Let soft, soulful music create warmth and help manage the excitement of your guests before your arrival. Imagine walking down the aisle to the familiar faces of your nearest and dearest, full of love, as beautiful soloist acoustic vocals accompanied by violin strings guide your way. Perhaps you’d prefer the relaxed harmonies of a duo with a guitar, singing your favourite song as tissues are passed around (and you’re looking like more than $1M bucks).
CANAPÉ HOUR INTO RECEPTION
Whilst you’re off ‘on location’ having wedding photos taken or some touch-ups and a sneaky Red Bull, set the mood for what’s the come for your guests. A mix of classic songs and/or modern faves can play during canapé hour. Guests will be able to bop to the sound of an acoustic duo complemented by guitar or piano whilst enjoying a cheeky champers and mingling together.
We’re cuing another big entrance! Be welcomed to your reception to the upbeat notes of a 100% big crowd-pleaser song of your choice – are you feeling Pharell Williams’ ‘Happy’, Bruno Mars’ ‘Marry You’, or something else entirely? We’ll def be there supporting with the music, but this time, you’re likely to also be accompanied by the sound of clinking glasses and cheers from your faves congratulating your new titles as an officially married couple!
READY FOR THE RECEPTION
2 hours of live music will keep everyone entertained before Your Hey Jack Melbourne wedding DJ takes over for 3 hours of spinning hits to keep the party pumping. Before your big day, make a request for the Hey Jack artist of your choice to learn 3 special songs to play at select moments during your wedding. As you and your partner take to the stage in each other’s arms for your first dance, strong, expressive vocals and heartfelt instruments will create another match made in Heaven, guiding your movements across the floor. Knowing it’s a song that’s special to the two of you is going to mean the world.
The same goes for any father/daughter, mother/son dances. Is there a song you and Dad always loved that reminds you of childhood family holidays, or singing along to in the car together (and he always got the lyrics wrong: ‘Blue seal in the sky with diamonds’)? Re-create it (lyrics on point) with the support of the best live musicians to make this moment truly memorable for the rest of your lives. Be prepared for some sniffles from the crowd as you take this special dance.
Now, get ready for our live wedding DJ to start spinning. Our DJ also comes with a promise – not a single iPhone playlist insight, we wouldn’t do that to you! If you really want to ‘treat-yo-self’, upgrade your DJ set with a sax or trumpet player, weaving throughout your crowd hitting those big brass notes to really blow everyone’s socks off. Disclaimer – Some of your guests are going to try to play imaginary trumpets and saxes ‘air guitar’ style at this point!
