At Hey Jack, we match you with a DJ who vibes with your music taste, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. You’re welcome to request a specific DJ, but most clients trust our expertise to find the perfect fit based on their event’s musical preferences. Our DJs are specifically curated for their skill and compatibility with your event’s atmosphere, promising a personalised and thrilling musical journey.
Expect our male performers in suit and tie and female performers in glamorous cocktail attire, unless you request otherwise. Our entertainers are committed to matching your event’s dress code to the letter.
Musicians typically arrive an hour before their performance to set up. Some acts might need more time, which we’ll communicate well in advance. Coordination with your venue for all logistics is part of our service, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
For a 4-hour event, expect the band to deliver 4 x 45-minute sets, with flexibility to adjust to your schedule. Between live sets, they can keep the vibe going with a pre-selected playlist, ensuring the music never stops.
For bookings of 3 hours or more, providing hot meals and refreshments for the musicians is required. Most venues offer a discounted meal rate for crew members.
Should you provide the AV or have a professional AV team, we’ll send over the equipment specs our artists need. We’re here to liaise with your venue or AV provider, making sure everything is set for an impeccable performance.
Upon confirming your event, you’ll receive access to an online form to help you choose music for different moments of the event and share your song preferences. This guide helps us tailor the music to your taste, though live groups may have a list of set list limitations to consider.
Since most of our performances are private, a live preview isn’t always possible. However, we offer video demos and audio samples to give you the best sense of their live performance quality.

To lock in your entertainment, a 30% deposit is required, with the balance due 45 days before the event. For bookings within 45 days, full payment secures your musicians. Payment can be made via direct bank transfer or credit card.
